Dream 15th April 2024: AI

Even AI has made it to my dream.

In the dream, I have signed up for an AI study, that allows my employer to use me as a study object for AI study.

I attended a company’s talk where they presented a demo of AI, then they showed how AI can predict how a person will look like in the future by analysing a person’s photos in the younger years. Because I’ve consented them to use my younger self images, they were able to access my Facebook and trained the model using my photos in my teens. Then they played a clip and showing how I would look right now. It was surprising that the new person looked very much like me, but there were one or two clips that that person looked completely different to me because they have mistaken someone else in the photos to me while training the model.

Then after that, I tried to go back home, but got lost.

Dream 28th March 2024 – Slides to the library, dead bodies, birds …

It was a mixture of fantasy and horror in 1 dream.

I was in the UK, visiting different cities, where at one city, there is a library which you could only access through a long & wide slide, which brings you directly into the middle of the library itself, and within the library, there is small vendors selling souvenirs and stuff (including soap bars).

Then I saw myself turning into a villain, where whatever I touched, and if I wanted to, could disappear.

Then I turned a corner where I walked in what looked like a market, but when I was inside, there were dead bodies everywhere, from adults to kids, to bloody and headless bodies, laying around on the ground. A terrifying scene. I had to walk through them to get into the other side, which I learned that this place is a cementery/crematorium and these bodies are in waiting to be cremated.

Then right at the exit of that horrible place, I entered into a tunnel, which is an entry of a big giant long slide, which again took me to another library. Apparently this is one of the biggest libraries in the country. After a thrilling slide, I ended up in the middle of the library itself. And a few minutes later I bumped into my friend Ako and Tash, which I tried to look for a soap bar to buy at the souvenir kiosk. Then I found myself wanting to vomit and quickly ran into the toilet and vomited out some solid stuff, texture is like oats.

Then I found myself at home in Vietnam where I owned 4 tiny birds, they looked exactly like above, 3 yellow ones and 1 orange one, and I was in the process of hatching another bird. These birds are round shape, cute and smart, I tried to find them a house (a wooden house outside), but also had to think of how to protect them without letting any cat near them.

A very weird dream. I enjoyed the slide the most. The dead bodies were harrowing.

Dream 24th March 2024 – Seally

In the dream, I had a rescued big fat black seal which I took him to perform at difference places. He was very smart, sweet, and we seemed to have developed a strong bond, and he understood everything I meant.

Cost of keeping him was expensive, about 30 EUR a day, so instead of selling tickets, I’ve asked people to donate.

When not performing, he swam and played in a small pond, one of the trick he could do was to lift me up and swam vertically above water.

Didn’t give him a name in the dream, but when I woke up, the name is decided then: Seally.

Dream 20th Feb 2024 – Won a hoodie

Last night dream was a series of events that happened at B.com campus where I work.

1. Was having lunch alone, sitting at long table in a corner, then realised that my ex was sitting at the same table at the other end. He then slowly moved to sit next to me and started talking to me, that he has now read my letter and was reconsidering the relationship. A bit awkward, I pulled away and told him let’s talk later.
2. When going up stairs and passing through the play areas of the building, I noticed that they have installed a lot of game vending machine, and have some games with a staff to facilitate the games. Ran into some of the Vietnamese colleagues here too. One of the games that I participated in is to throw a mentos into a tube, I was given 5 mentos and only managed to get 2 in the tubes, which enough to qualified me to win a hoodie, which I selected a burgundy hoodie with B.com logo.

Another part of the dream was that I was back in the accounting office (my first job), and was cleaning the floor with a very thin stick vacuum cleaner, which didn’t do the job very well, while there was someone else trying to scrap something off from the carpet (I vacuumed my couch before bed, that’s why).

Dream 18th Feb 2024 – A game?

A bit difficult to describe the dream last night as it makes absolutely no sense.

I was in a game, like the Hunger Game, and the players are paired up. Paul A. (a good looking guy from work) is paired up with me, by his choice. There were 70 people, and the rules are that after the game, only 32 people will survive, the rest will be turned to rock buffaloes. An unexpected (and disappointing) rule of the game is that participants are not allowed to hold hands.

There was a player, that sits in a wheelchair. At one point during the game, I managed to stop the whole game, and stop other teams being turned into buffaloes, to point out that that person was a fraud, has stolen my identity at birth to reincarnate, and he was not supposed to be reincarnated and the one should be reincarnated was me, because I was a better version, but he manage to reincarnate and was thus ‘defective’.

Anyway, I got my ‘identity’ back …

Make no sense, I know.

Dream diary: Call me maybe

This dream is a bit silly. Also it is not one dream with a single story line but multiple unrelated events.

1. R.A. is in Sydney right now, he didn’t appear in dream, but I dreamt that I was having a whatsapp convo with him. He told me that one of this PHD students/colleague, whatever, has been ‘weird’, meaning making a move on him. Though he did not reciprocate the advancement, he did tell her something on the line of ‘Call me maybe’ from this song, quoted one of the lyrics and in the dream, this song was created by an artist named ‘Illy…’ something. The reason he gave a half-ass ambiguous answer to half lead her on was because he wanted a free T-shirt.
2. My brother had a cool polaroid camera. He also was filleting fish with 2 heads, 4 of them at the same time.
3. I was on my first day working at a Vietnamese restaurant, where what is ordered is sent to my phone and I was in charge of that order. The dish name does not make any sense to me, and I had no training or instruction.
